At Odonto Smile, we offer three types of whitening: laser, LED, and at-home . The first two are performed in-clinic. For those who are independent and prefer to do everything themselves, at-home whitening is recommended. You can perform the treatment at home after consulting an Odonto Smile dentist.
For two weeks after treatment, avoid coffee, wine, açaí, and artificial juices. Chocolate and foods with sauces are not recommended. Treatment results also depend on the patient!

Does the tooth become weakened?
No, the tooth doesn't weaken. However, mineral loss can occur, which will be reversed by the action of saliva.
Can whitening cause sensitivity?
It depends largely on each patient. When present, it is easily resolved with specific products.
How does whitening work?
Carbamide and hydrogen peroxides penetrate the tooth and react with the pigments responsible for darkening, breaking them down into smaller molecules that interact with light differently, resulting in whiter teeth.
